Ben, this is just to let you know that I received the harmonica (a couple of weeks ago, in fact) and have been enjoying it immensely. It is everything you say it is on your web site -- very responsive on every reed, as well as for overblows/over-draws, and has a big, full tone. The harmonica itself is also much more comfortable to hold and has a better feel than a Marine Band (even a good customized one), in my opinion.
I am sure you will be swamped with orders for this, and I hope to order another soon.

I highly recommend Ben Bouman's customized Beta stainless steel reed harps... After playing for many years on the other top of the line customized harps, Bens Bouman's work holds right up to them. I'm sure everyone who uses custom harps will be very interested in your work on the stainless steel reeds, which promise a much longer lasting life then brass reeds and at approximately  200 US$ a pop for any of the leading customized harps out there, who wouldn't like their harps to last 2 to 3 times longer and still be in tune.....Thanks Ben for your great work and keep it up.....

I received the harp today, and it plays super. The gapping and reed slot work is as good as I've ever seen--and I do have work from other customizers. No squeals on the overdraws, smooth response.

I just received my first Beta harp and I'm impressed by the quality of it ! I definitely recommend them! Great harp almost plays by itself (just kidding) Loud volume with quick and easy response! Tone is beautiful too. Big and round just like I want it. Try one:)!
